Emma Bowen Foundation Fellows Program Application
For nearly 40 years, the Emma Bowen Foundation (EBF) has developed and connected promising students, known as EBF Fellows, to careers in media, entertainment, technology, and business through summer internships, mentorship, and professional development. Each summer, we host a class of about 150 new and returning EBF Fellows who intern with our partners.
Nearly 2,000 aspiring media professionals have received support, guidance, and resources from EBF. Today, our alumni are producers, journalists, web developers, engineers, business executives, PR agents, ad sales representatives, and serve in many other roles.

ELIGIBILITY
You are eligible to apply for the EBF Fellows Program if you meet ALL of the following requirements:
High school senior or undergraduate student graduating Spring 2027 or later
If you have graduated or will graduate before January 2027, please sign up for our AMMP Network
Accepted to, transferring to, or currently enrolled in a four-year accredited U.S. college or university
Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA
Interested in a career in media, entertainment, technology, or business
Available for a 35-40 hours per week internship for a minimum of 8 consecutive weeks and up to 12 consecutive weeks as determined by the partner company (generally starts in May or June)
At least 18 years old before the internship begins

SELECTION PROCESS
Each year, we receive thousands of applications and welcome about 150 Fellows to our prestigious EBF Fellows program. We appreciate your patience during the Summer 2027 selection process.
Applications can be submitted from September through April. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis based on our partners’ requests, placement locations, and their individual hiring timelines. Applicants may hear from us via email at any point during this period regarding internship opportunities and next steps to be moved forward in the application process. To be an EBF Fellow, an applicant must be selected and hired by a partner company for a summer internship through this process.
Placements will be determined by May 15, 2027. Applicants who are not selected for a Summer 2027 internship will be notified on May 15, 2027.
